Eagle of Black Canyon Mini

This little charmer was created for a program with the S & B Quilters of Hotchkiss, CO. It was designed from a photo I’d taken at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison when teaching in Hotchkiss the previous year. It is bonded appliqué with some colored pencil coloring to add depth. A full page of the directions is dedicated to coloring and shading though it can be quite lovely without.
