May Basket Mini

These cheery little baskets are a sweet breath of spring. The baskets are paper pieced in two values. The yo-yo appliquéd or silk ribbon embroidered flowers are a happy mix of spring with a French knot or beaded centers. The larger, single-block quilt, approximately 9″ square is bound. The small three-block quilt is approximately 7″ X 11″ and is turned with no binding. The materials list is an approximation. Fat quarters were used in the samples with fabric left over for other projects.
