Tropical Dreams Mini

Sometimes we need to dream of clear, warm tropical seas and little fishes—so soothing. These little fish set the mood for me. Bright colors and simple paper piecing team up for a quick and easy project to get us out of winter and into the summer of our dreams. This is a perfect pattern for anyone who wants to practice paper piecing without a lot of seams and tiny pieces. Plain and reverse patterns for both fish are included as are ideas to make a larger multi-fish quilt. I like to use colored pencils to color my design ideas right onto the printed paper piecing paper. A friend made the crib quilt version.
