High Desert

Featuring the cactus wren, cactus, and flowers of the high desert, this scenic wall hanging is a bright spot of color and warmth. There are many textural techniques from couched eyelash fibers to dimensional cactus flowers. The wren has both machine embroidered andappliquéd dots which could be hand embroidered or (possibly) colored in with a black fabric marker. There is some optional machine embroidered stitching in the border, just for fun.
